People often ask me how I got into this business.
My journey is quite interesting. I retired after 24 years with the same company and an interesting career in management. About 4 months into my retirement, I suddenly found myself in the market for a casket for my Father.
(I actually purchased his casket from the previous owner of this store.)
Well, my Father took a turn for the better and I kept in contact with the owner of the casket store, letting him know of his remarkable progress. At one point he shared with me about the poor health of his wife and his decision to sell his business and move his family closer to relatives in the mid-west. He planted the seed - and God called me to begin a new chapter in my life.

My husband and I purchased the business in October 2005, just two months before my Father passed away - and quickly learned firsthand how my customers were feeling.
Today, my background as a Chaplain and counselor really allows me to enjoy working with all of the families. I can honestly say I love my job! My husband Jesus and my son Rio have become very involved in the family business.
I really strive to offer alternative services so that families do not have to pay the high prices of traditional funeral homes. I like to refer my customers to other cost saving resources; comparative pricing for funeral homes, quality engraving for less, flowers, photographer, videographer, memorial decals and more.
I have made many friends and treat all of my customers like family.
